Author and Speaker
has joined the
Island Fabrics Etc. teaching staff.

Jill has been specializing in the "Easy
way to sew" for years and has adapted her garment sewing and embellishment
techniques to Heirloom Sewing, Quilting, Doll Making, and more. Make it
fast, make it easy, and make it beautiful! You don't
have to sacrifice workmanship for ease as her varied samples beautifully
illustrate. She will wake up your imagination and inspire you to explore
and get the most out of yourself and your sewing machine. |
|
Extensive machine knowledge has enabled
Jill to become a nationally known teacher as well as the author of "The
Heirloom Shirt" which is a sampler project that is easy enough for a
beginning sewer, yet elegant enough for the most special occasion.
"Pretty Quick" a quick and easy project book has a variety of quick, easy,
and beautiful projects. Look for "Pretty Quick, too!" in the summer of
'01. She is also the designer of her own line of doll patterns, Julep
Designs and is planning new books for the fall of 2001. Her embroidery
designs include, Japanese, Primitive, Floral, Battenburg Lace and a doll
face diskette from Cactus Punch. Her entry in the Threads magazine,
Designer Challenge, is in the June/July '01 issue. She specialized in fun,
as well as, ease, so join her for inspiration, education, and a good time. |
